It is my honor and privlege to welcome you to Crawfordsville! We are conveniently located in west-central Indiana with the perfect combination of small town charm and easy access to larger urban areas.

We are a city with a very proud past and promising future. Our amazing history is prominetly displayed by our local museums. I hope you will take time to visit the Lew Wallace Study, Lane Place, Carnegie Museum, Old Jail Museum and Ropkey Armour Museum. Our Visitor's Center is located at 218 Pike St and they are eager to direct you to one of these museums or one of our great local restaurants.

We are also proud to be home to Wabash College, a bowling alley, two golf courses, movie theaters, several hotels, beautiful parks and the scenic Sugar Creek Trail.

Our strengths have long been our caring people and our diverse economic base. We pride ourselves on being a supportive and caring community that is always ready to extend a hand of service when needed. Our economic base is very diversified which provides us with a great deal of resiliency. We are home to many fine businesses and industries that are key contributors in today's global economy.
